I’m Tich Mupeti, a director, DP, photographer, and proud family man based in Namibia. I started my creative journey in 2015 as a photographer, then quickly expanded into video production and directing. Today, I own and run Colour Pop, a media production company where I combine my passion for storytelling with my love for creating compelling visual content.
I also provide "in-house" services for O&L BrandX, a marketing agency servicing the Ohlthaver and List group of companies in Namibia.
When it comes to gear, I primarily shoot on Sony cameras, but I’m not tied to any specific brand—I believe in letting creativity guide my tools. Recently, I’ve been diving into the world of film photography, exploring its unique artistry with a Mamiya 645 medium-format camera. This new interest has added depth to my work and allowed me to blend modern digital techniques with the timeless beauty of film.
Beyond my craft, I’m passionate about helping Namibia’s creative industry grow. I advocate for making filmmaking a viable career path and work to inspire young creatives to pursue their dreams. I'm a proud member of the Filmmakers Association of Namibia and I frequently offer developing talent opportunities to learn on various projects. For me, it’s about more than just producing great work—it’s about contributing to the development of a thriving creative community that puts Namibia on the global map.
